This one really had me laughing out loud :)

I think Lucy needs psychiatric help… help that costs more than five cents.

For some people they would screw other people over on their last day and then when they lived it would be oh no what have I done. Maybe it being their last day would be self-fulfilling prophecy.

Let her wander off. But she is sure no voice in the wilderness.

You could spend your entire retirement account on things that would make you sick 2 days from now.

Except that I don’t know what I would do differently.

I hate to say this but say this I must…I’ll bet that the “Peanuts” gang would LOVE for it to be your last 24 hours, Lucy! :/

Some people only hear what they want to hear.

It’s like the very old joke:

Mary: Communists believe that no woman should have diamond earrings unless all women have diamond earrings."

Joan: “I want to be a communist because they believe all women have diamond earrings.”

If everyone lived every day as though it was their last, toilets would never be cleaned. Garbage would never be picked up. No one would ever go to work. Soon, everyone would be starving and it WOULD be their last day on Earth.

That’s the reaction I’ve always had when someone says that to me. Should I sell my 401k?

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

This got me to thinking. If this were my last day: I’d give away my excess money; make phone calls I’ve been putting off; go out and grab the first homeless family with kids and give them my house; I’d spend the day taking them through my house and showing them all the neat stuff; and, oh, yes, I’d clean up the house before giving it away. And, we’d settle down that evening, the new family and I, watch PBS Newshour, watch my favorite movie, have a great meal, and give them the keys to the house and my vehicles. What a great day!

I’ve thought similarly about “live life to the fullest” . Difficult to do when you have to spend most of it at some job you really don’t like.

Sort of reminds me of what’s going on in today’s world…

No time to comment. Gotta go find that last package of Oreos.

YEP! and some people wouldn’t know a philosophies if it stared them in the face.

You’re looking at it all wrong, Charlie Brown. You managed to not only get rid of Lucy, but to make her feel as bad as she always makes you feel.

Specially for the sarcastic ones!

The local college’s rendition of “You’re a good man, Charlie Brown” really rocked this scene. It was the funniest and most memorable in the musical.

If everyone lived like that, the world would be left in a mess.
