Yes, he got the tape recorder back, but Goldie has never apologized for taking it in the first place.. I think Lupin has a right to still be angry. of course, it would be better if he told her WHY he was angry, so they could straighten this out, but no one’s purrfect.

My black cat, Tar, is like that. Whatever dish the other cats are eating from, that’s the dish he wants. I think he’s afraid he will be missing out on something or one of the other cats will be getting something different. Nutty cat.

Poor Lupin! But he needs to stop being passive aggressive and confront Goldie about the recorder.

Lupin seems like a very reasonable cat.But he has issues with Goldie.I figured it would be Elvis who would be intractable.

I hate it when I want to argue and everyone is patient and understanding!

I very sincerely hope that this story will be resolved by reason and justice, by explanation and apology, rather than have the conflict suppressed by some sentimental slop or a “Goldie does something nice for Lupin” fake ending.

This sounds just like dinner time at our house. The group typically starts with a regular set of positions and before dinner is over, everyone has spent some time at nearly every position. It is funny to see who starts each shift by pushing someone off of their bowl.

I like how Georgia keeps the continuity from several months ago, when she gave us the scoop on “Whisker Fatigue”! The crew is eating off of flat dishes instead of bowls now.

(aka LadyKat) Lupin, there’s plenty of food to go around. While you waste time screeching at Goldie, she will move calmly from bowl to bowl, and she will have a full tummy.

It’s a good thing that Goldie has such an even temper.

I carefully placed three dishes of equal amounts of food in an equilateral triangle. Before either of the adult cats could eat, Colette jumped into the middle, “Everybody, be cool!” She carefully examined all three bowls. “OK, I’ll have this one.” She was only a kitten but firmly established the principle of “first choice”.

Dear orb, several months ago I complained of night sweats and daily not flashes. You told me to get checked out. I do have some issues. Thank you all. My deficiencies are diagnosed. Now my doctor has to assemble the parts. I have lost 20 lbs in a month. Yes it was extra weight, but usually I lose weight one calorie at a time. Not this easily. Thank you all who said I needed the doctor. I’ll keep you posted as I don’t feel one shot better. But at least my doctor is On the case.

I just noticed that Goldie seems to still be wearing that relaxed comfy robe she was wearing last Friday. (Still in her recuperation mode?) I’m very curious to see what her style will settle out to be, indoors where she doesn’t have to be a tough girl!

A woman I work with complained that I was using ”her cup” today, even though it was in the shared coffee cup area and was not marked with her name AND she was using another cup at the time. I should send her a link to this comic.

I am a cat photographer by trade. If you’re are doing something cute, I’ll come shoot it.
