The Enoch Pratt Bookmobile was my neighborhood library for many wonderful years. Parked every Friday evening two blocks away. I checked out the limit many times. Later moved and had closeby “real” libraries, but the Bookmobile always stayed special.

It has been the Week of the Hairballs here. Had to change the sheets and mattress pad once. Chased a cat around to catch two others. Found a surprise in the basement. Then today cleared in the neighbors’ house for whom we are cat sitting.
As we see it, Popcorn is one of the major food groups. Ranks with chocolate, ice cream, and French Fries.
