It’s cute how you can hear Thimblefists knocking on the window with his thimbles. Then in the last panel though is Homestyle covering his while Thimblefists is singing?

I love how Hometyle goes from “Yeah! Stop insulting the Shoutmunks!” to “Wait, what? Don’t SING!!”

Now I’m going nuts trying to remember where the lyric “it was never my intention“ comes from.

Even Thimblefist can’t ruin one of my favorite carols – “It’s Christmastime in the city..”

70+ years of hearing singing of nearly every variety has taught me that singing is nearly always horrible. The human voice is not a musical instrument, and should not be used as such. But bad though it is, it is not the worst of sounds. When chipmunks start to sing, we are all doomed.

I prefer rodent jazz, like Thelonious Chipmunk.

You know it’s Friday the 13th when you find angry chipmunks tap tap tapping at your windowpane when you were expecting Suzy Snowflake!

Homestyle looks like a female to me. Anyone else? I wonder if they’re a couple.

Yay, Homestyle and Thimblefist are back!

So they did show up. I was expecting Thimblefist but Homestyle is a bonus. They obviously think they are fierce but they are really just adorbs.

Georgia’s tweet below links to an adorable pair of Lupin photos. Our cat looks a lot like Lupin but I have never seen that particular expression in the first photo.

Does Thimblefist remind anyone else of Joe Pesci?

Last night came across a PBS show with/by Lucy Woorsley on the history of the Christmas Carol,very interesting/ she always has a good program.

After Puck seeing the angry pine trees , I’m thinking the forest critters armour may be more about protection from the trees, than fighting with each other.

A spoon full of peanut butter should end that concert right away!

If Killer Kitty, Terror of Chipmunks, were still alive, I’d send him to the Pink House to sort out those annoying pests. My former SIL is from South Africa. The first time she saw a chipmunk in our back yard, she freaked out. She thought they were only cartoon animals from Disney.

Slightly OT; went to the shops after work yesterday and when I got home I discovered I needed to perform tree-age in the living room.

The “patient” was in a bit of a state having lost numerous ornaments and bead garland was hanging on by a thread. Once lifted back into normal position it was clear major surgery was needed. 2 shifty eyed suspects watched from across the room as parts were reattached and skirting replaced. After a cat scan (well 2 cats scan) the tree was proclaimed recovered.

I found a cute tin of Danish butter cookies at the store – the art on the lid made me think of Georgia’s work so I had to buy it even though I can’t eat the cookies. Ah well, guess everyone at work gets more holiday goodies :)

…hmph. It appears that chipmunks are snowflakes, highly offended by other’s opinions…

OMC, I understand the Shoutmunks now: Chipmunks have only one volume setting.

When I was a kid ,my siblings & I sang the WHOLE “99 Bottles Of Beer On The Wall” on a family trip . (I’m surprised my dad didn’t throw the 3 of us out on I-95 :-O )

Hey, I like the Chipmunks. They bring back some good memories. Lol. Well, my cat Lyra was pestering me for attention and wouldn’t leave me alone. So I told her to get on the bed, she did and I brushed and gave her attentions. Smart-alec cat. _

Just looked at Georgia’s fb page and she had a note that Zazzle now has ornaments featuring the Tommybaum, so I linked to that page and they are really cute. FYI

How festive. I wouldn’t mind some karaoke with these cats, myself!
