Anyone else weirded out by how humans hang around with talking farm animals like it’s the most normal thing in the world? Shouldn’t the PBS world just be anthropomorphic animals, and no humans at all?
I think female sheep used as the word “ewe” is the most common word Pastis uses for his puns. Apparently it’s hard to come up with a semi-reasonable noun that sounds like “you”, but these ewes could almost be promoted to regular characters in his strip.
