Actually, Rat’s religion is no less moral than most religions.

Love the phony halo. Very realistic. At least Rat is true to his own morals.

Wonder how he makes the flip board grow just by waving his wand in front of it?

I remember reading about a statue a few churches put up that showed Jesus as a homeless man sleeping on a bench near the church… people have called the cops on it at least once.

Rat … that’s not a new religion. Congress has been promoting and practicing that philosophy for the past 40 years.

It’s a pretty consistent theme across religions.

His “religion” is just human nature, and there’s nothing new in that, but Jesus taught otherwise:““You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Matthew 5:43-48

Wonder what Rat’s other Religions are ? We know Beer drinking is one for sure ! Being a pain in the butt is another one ;-)

In Rat’s religion, ‘turn the other cheek’ means something altogether different.

I like honesty. I know as a woman of faith I sometime need a boot in the rear. Then one day the booter will need to be the bootie. It happens.

It is an improvement on what we have already. Most religions have used torture, wars and mass killings so a kick in the rear seams reasonable.

Unfortunately, there are too many people who will start kicking just for the fun (or simply just because) of it.

I’ve heard of “Brother Rat,” but I’ll never think of our PBS Rat as angelic, no matter what “convenient religion” he promotes….

Seems pretty realistic to me….kill or persecute those who disagree with your religion, and I’m referring to ALL religions including and especially you so called Christians.
