In Rat’s case death is a nightmare as he can’t drink any more beer once he’s dead.

“…life’s a piece of shit – when you look at it – life’s a laugh and death’s a joke, it’s true: You’ll see it’s all a show, keep ’em laughing as you go, just remember that the last laugh is on you…and…Always look on the bright side of life.” – Eric Idle

Heck, I already know just what it’s like. For sure, death will be for me, or anyone, just like what it was for me before I was born…

When you are given a general anesthetic, you go under then, for what seems like a split second later, you are wakened. No memories of dreaming, no sense of time passing, not even feeling like you’ve had a nap. I hope there is more to death than that total non-conscience state.

I feel a bout of phenomenology coming on, but I’m too tired to work it out since I was up twice last night to pee. I think I’ll just move on to Calvin and Hobbes now.

To the soul, death is an illusion. So is the physical world.

If you were to “die” right now, you wouldn’t feel dead, you’d feel more alive, free, and aware… As if you’ve waken up from another dream designed to test and grow your soul. In addition to that, your soul knew, before you were born, what major circumstances were going to happen, the people involved, and the approximate time, and circumstances, for your death. Key in this soul growth is free will.

Good books to read on this are Journey of Souls, Destiny of Souls, and Memories of the Afterlife by Dr. Michael Newton.

Of course, in death, you just cease to exist. You just go away.

No, you should NOT have to get up in the middle of the night to void. Please go see a urologist (or a urogynecologist, if applicable). Diet changes, drugs, and physical therapy are all available to help.
