   In my case, I blame the loss on my time in Vietnam as a mortar-man and now there are times that will get loud. Some music needs to be loud, case in point, 1812 Overture. I do apologize, Heavy metal rock gets the same treatment.

   I guess that the proper evaluation is, terrible. I have hearing aides and they work sometimes. Problem is that even when they work I find it impossible to keep up with a four person conversation. Beyond that, full range music doesn’t exist for me any longer, a sad outcome.

    Not close to my story, but the VA disability pay and social security have made for a wonderful life for nice guy (me) and my wonderful girl (wife). I didn’t think I was a jerk pre-nam but I did receive a plaque from a friend “A-hole of the year 1974”.
