I was going to suggest “Bat Shi…,” but nah.

These gals work well together as a team.

That is, until the venture becomes a success and they FIGHT over who Who’s the Boss, Who gets the credit and WHO gets the Lioness’ share of the profits. ;-)

The fact they’re having trouble “branding” their store doesn’t bode well of their ability to brand other college students.

Bets and Tiff? seems like all of this was Bets’ ideas and doing.

Bleh. The name sounds like either “B’Tubs” or “Bat Tubs.” Not only is it poor planning to use a name nobody knows how to say, but neither name has anything to do with their service.

Tiff culd chip in more as Betts seemsta be doin most of the brainwork. Now Bets cant do this cause she’s hanging with Gunter. Tiff could help re – brand some of th nerdly guys on campus. You know, the ones girls won’t even look at. Kinda like ‘Howie the Stapler Guy’ a teacher’s assistant from a few years back. For th $500 re – branding from some of those poor chumps, Tiff makes herself available to be seen arm in arm with em on campus or popular hangouts. Miyght make other girls wonder if they’re missing something an possibly give em a look. Might not re – brand em from a nerd to a stud, but mebbe from a nerd to a nerdly stud. Baby steps you know. Rome wasnt built in a day, but it burned a lot faster

And no it doesnt mean that Tiff ends up goin home with them for th night or them ending up at Tiff’s place for th night. Just to be seen out an about with a curvy hottie. That’s all, they just oughta not call it th ‘Deluxe Deal’ like they talked about yesterday

Students who have $500 extra are not going to spend it on branding themselves.

Monday’s brainstorms were more clever than today’s.

When I was a college student, there was no way I could possibly have justified spending the inflation-adjusted comparable amount on something so trivial…keeping the car in gas, oil, and insurance was a feat in and of itself. In any case, I am who I am and certainly wasn’t going to go through contortions to fit in with people that I would never see again. Just treat people with respect and expect them to do likewise…

Probrands – I would go with that one. Sounds way more profesh…

Maybe you can workshop the name later.

My house was a quarter mile from the center line of totality. Enjoyed 4 minutes of totality. It was totally awesome! Maybe Tiff and Bets as they try to figure this out will come to the realization that they are the ones that need to be rebranded

They’re selling bathtubs? Oh, BATUBS… hmm…. NO.

Weird name, but it’s memorable.I have not idea if Bets and Tiffany’s idea will be successful, but it’s nice that they’re finally doing something together. Whether it goes well or not, it will be an important experience for both to have. Let’s hope this isn’t the only time they collaborate together like this, they’re a great duo.

Interesting that Tiff doesn’t give herself first billing: ‘Tabubs’.

Only total eclipse I remember in Northern California was mid-80’s during a high schoolhistory class. Teacher wouldn’t let us go outside to see. Oh yeah the Treaty of Ghentis SOmuch cooler…

So, Tiff comes up with all the ideas, and Bets decides which are OK or not. I don’t see this partnership lasting very long.

Tiffany is just a student who works as a waitress and Bets is just a student now. They keep doing these arcs that are just Tiffany talking to someone. Just talking talking talking. It’s boring. Let’s get to the part where they take some kids money and their parents file charges.

Unfortunately the idea of a typical college student needing a “brand” still eludes me. This is, to me, perhaps the least interesting arc I have read in Luann. So many are very, very good, I guess one (to me) klunker can be expected.

I may be missing something, but what about the project? Yes, I experienced the eclipse, it was great!

The best candidates would be in the summer for students who were losers in high school and want to get a fresh start in college and they might be impressed with a couple of cute co-eds.

This rebranding theme has been a pointless interlude. It should have ended after a couple of days. Time to move on.

I wonder sometimes how .coms develop a name for their businesses. Some just do not make sense to me at all.

naming your branding brand BATUBS: Tell me you’re completely incompetent at branding without telling me you’re completely incompetent at branding.

The writing is clunky. Good job.

Forget “brands” or branding anything. It sounds like they would be on a ranch with a branding iron in hand. They would do better promoting a personality makeover;

I have a feeling that their branding business will be less successful than their attempt at naming it.

How about naming it, “Who Are You?” It infers the need for branding. Even"Names R Us" is better than anything these 2 have come up with.
