I agree! The media – who should know better than anyone – consistently call Catherine, the Princess of Wales, “Kate Middleton”. That is NOT her name! But they refuse to correct it.
Considering having a child costs at least $500 a month – child care alone can cost you that much by itself. When I had my daughter, child care was $125 a week – at that was in 1984! Then add in formula, diapers, etc.
I don’t sleep because I have a 5 lb Yorkie who LETS me have the edge of the bed + one cat who purrs at 1500 db all night and another cat who meows all night
This strip got to me – and not in a good way at all. My little girl was born in 1984 and she did make it to 1993 and her 9th birthday (Nov 15) – but was killed Mar 27, 1994 – the 30th anniversary is in just a few weeks. I know she’s in a better place than here, but my heart – and arms — miss her every day.
I pretty much always have captioning on my TV; not so much because I can’t hear, but because I can’t comprehend what they’re saying, either because of an accent or they just don’t enunciate clearly!
I don’t answer the phone anymore unless I know who’s calling – especially when work keeps trying to get me to come in on my days off…surprisingly, nobody ever leaves a message. And btw, WHO told the entire UNIVERSE that I want to sell my house???
