We’ve lost the 4th estate, corps and billionaires own them. Not the common man/woman.

The editors and writers with Simon & Schuster who were just purchased by KKR?

Private equity firms expect a high rate of return on their investment and won’t be satisfied with modest profits.

Current headline: Zoom, the premier remote-work platform, is now telling its employees that they’ll have to give up remote work.

What that article did not mention is that Zoom was just recently bought by Meta (the Facebook folks), so it looks to me as if that edict has come from Meta, and not from the long-time Zoom management.

And it largely removes the general population of Zoom employees from the ranks of those using — and thereby testing — their product.

It could have been worse. He’s not Elon Musk.
