He saves energy by not bathing or washing clothes.

Recycle bins still exist, but does stuff actually get recycled?

There’s no recycle bin there, so what is Ken getting himself all worked up about?

Milton Berle “recycled” so many others’ jokes that he was known as the Thief of Bad Gags; if SP wants that title, he has a long way to go.

Delivery and set up contributes a lot to successful recycling. I recycle a lot, and my wife and I laugh every time. Well, I do, anyway.

What kind of tires do old jokes have?

Cans SHOULD be recycled, and maybe corrugated cardboard as well. Everything else, notably both paper & plastic, don’t bother. That stuff is just trash and only rarely gets recycled.

Recycle cans, alum,paper, cardboard GREAT. Plastic not so much. Better to not buy water if it gets piped into you home…unless it stinks. I have Sulfer water and I fixed it. I Never buy water! Too many types of plastic to recycle

Good intentions only do so much. Then there are whatever kind Rat has.

I’m glad he spelled it “whoa,” which is correct, and not “WOAH,” which drives me nuts and makes me think less of the people who spell it that way.

Rat’s defense of Pastis is like the old joke. Someone said that Pastis stinks and Rat said, “Like sh!t he does.” See, I can recycle, too. :-P :-D

All our plastic goes into the garbage, they don’t recycle it.

So infuriating seeing how many people refuse to make the minimal effort to recycle. Just toss it all in the garbage. So thoughtless.

Has there ever been a creator of a long-running daily comic strip that didn’t recycle tired old jokes?

He doesn’t recycle his strips, yet. Unless they a bit too edgy and accidentally relate to current events.

The proper response is “Hey, Buddy, mind your own g*dd*mn business.” As per Miss Manners, Dear Abby and Dr Phil.

Unsolicited advice….

Recycle, kids.

In the end almost everything put into the recycling bin ends up in the landfill. Recycling creates jobs for more trash truck drivers!

That is one big rat.

the cans are for the homeless people digging for the trash so they can redeem them for the deposit

We use Brita filter pitcher for coffee, ice, cooking, watering plants, etc. We really notice the difference (no chlorine taste). No plastic bottles to recycle. A small step. We do our part!

Ironically, just yesterday an old friend I haven’t seen for a decade started a joke, I inserted the punchline key word, and he bluntly stopped. Was I wrong?

I’m sure Rat meant to say “I did my best to offend you”

Plastics, aluminum, paper, etc. etc. cost more to recycle than to produce new. But as to the buying water comment, I agree completely. One of my regrets in life is I never started a bottled water company to serve all those suckers who really didn’t need it. I would have named it “Eternal Life Water” and sold all I wanted for $5/bottle, ha. Especially as the Cult of Public Health and Safety kicked in over the last 20 years.

Stephen is only helping out a homeless person anonymously.

I’m not sure recycling jokes does much for the carbon footprint.

Even if it comes from your faucet, you’re buying it!

Come on, Rat! You know full well that there is no excuse for Cartoon-Boy. The guilt is his alone….
