When I’ve spoken to informal groups, I’d say the way to relax is to imagine the audience is naked. Then I’d say to a friend in the crowd, “Charlie, please don’t stand up.”

I’ll say it again. You overlooked why the Foundation came to believe the books were racist.

You overlook what motivated the Foundation to decide the books were racist. You may want to examine your assumptions.

Really, it doesn’took that different. While it lost its war to keep slaves, it switched to a new way to do it. Prior to the civil war, they defended their slavery by calling free workers “wage slaves.” During the 20th century, they tried to maintain segregation (or reinstate it, as Wilson did) but lost that battle, too. Finally they realized they could own people thru welfare benefits. Basically they buy votes that enable them to maintain power to control as much of our lives as they can.

I chose Bari to represent canceled journalists. Bari was an editor at NYT. I chose Brendan to represent canceled people in business. He was ceo of Mozilla. I suggest you Google them to learn their stories if you’re unfamiliar. I’d add that while both of these people developed successful career alternatives, not all canceled people have.
