Sounds like Judge Judy, on her cranky days…and she has many, she scooted a few out the door today!

So, judging by the viewer’s perspective of this artwork, the Small Claims courtroom on the other side of those double-doors is suspended above the street 2 stories below? The open door just to the right seems to indicate that, unless this is the Twilite Zone and the open door is a portal to another world/place/time (Google the T.Z. reference if over your head).

Given some of the programs now on tv, maybe there should be one where lawyers present their cases and the critics and audience give them an up or down vote.

There’s a guy around here who tries to buy, with low ball offers, every house that comes up for sale. Then he sues either the Agent or the Seller, or both, when his offer is not accepted. The door on the right is for his kind. I have no clue on what these suits are based and why any lawyer would bring them.

Where do mediocre musicians go to file their Hey, this hit song sounds a little bit like a flop I wrote fifteen years ago! I want half their profits for copyright infringement! lawsuits?

If this keeps up, there will be a lawyer shortage: another supply chain issue where demand exceeds supply.

This reminds me of an episode of Night Court where the courtroom was haunted by a ghost who was still disputing a parking ticket. Judge Harry’s response was “Get an afterlife.”

If only that were so. It seems to me that the “foot long sandwich” case sort of lowered the bar for every one. I wonder how big the scoop was they used for the raisins in Kellogg’s Raisin Bran? It doesn’t seem like 2 scoops to me.

When you are not directly involved in a case and want to get in your 2 cents you file an amicus brief. If you think the case is a joke, do you file a comicus brief?
