I have earworms all the time, every day. It can be anything. They come and go as they please, and for the most part we have a harmonious relationship.

“Skyrockets in Flight”? Never heard of it. Just watched it on YouTube. Meh. Hardly seems earworm-worthy.

But I dread the next Skyrizi ad I see on TV. “Nothing is everything”.

Mercifully, I only know one of those tunes and not very well at that.

If only Captain Ahab would have tried this with Moby-Dick…

The killer earworm when I was a kid was “John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt” The song has the hooky little “la la la la la” part and it’s has no end. In infinite loop that began roughly 5 nanoseconds after the Big Bang and will outlive the Heat Death of the Universe.

Luckily for me, earworms don’t infect the truly intelligent folk of this THINKIN’ OF YOU’S WORKIN’ UP A APPETITE LOOKIN’ FORWARD TO A LITTLE AFTERNOON DELIGHT

I was in Costco yesterday and passed a cooler with a product called “Avocado Mash”. Guess what earworm I have now.
