Who rakes their yard? We have used mulching lawn mowers forever, chopping up leaves and grass and turning them into mulch is the only way to cut grass. OTOH, instead of the obsession with cutting grass you could just turn your yard into a meadow, never cut grass or kill weeds, just let it grow. Altho if you live within an HOA you will never be able to do that.
I agree with Arlo. There should be a specific word for dreams about working. I am retired and still dream I’m at work on a project, but not being paid because I’m retired. My suggestions are, REAMD, or MAERD, because those word sound similar to mired and reamed.
I recall being about five or six and hearing my grandmother say that she was exhausted because she spent the night dreaming she was cleaning the house.
I am very prone to major nightmares. Last night’s was a doozy. I envy people who sleep deep enough to not wake up in time to remember their dreams. They were worse in the past – I hope I am not headed there again.

Why? What’s wrong with calling it a dream? That sort of thing is what the word means.

In a vivid dream, you are experiencing the events, even boring leaf raking. With any luck for your bed partner, your motions should be suppressed.

Hey, you could have dreamt you were raking the yard in the nude.

There is, one could be visions (as in what you’ll be doing in 9 months) or memories.

Depends on what it was you were raking, on/off the yard.
