I do not think so, IMVPO, Democrats for far to many years concentrated only on the Presidency rather than on Congress or state offices, which was why and how the GOTP managed to Gerrymander so many states. The last I read Democrats only controlled 12 states. Why Democrats did such a poor job in 2010. The last Census.Over the last several years the Democrats lost over 1000 elected offices, local, state and federal

As a child, I had very blond hair, which became brown by the time I was an adult, by age 50 I had snow white hair and beard. In 2016 my hair and beard started growing out brown. Now, I have totally brown hair and beard, pictures taken since my hair color changed show me looking several years younger than the pictures taken when I had had white hair

That has not been my personal experience Not what I was taught in HS civics class and not what I taught for almost 20 years to green card holders who wanted to take the Citizenship test. I never had anyone flunk the test. Rural states, like say Oklahoma are still mostly repub because the GOTP has been preaching for years, without any counter arguments from the DNC, that Democrats want to destroy America. So mostly rural states vote GOTP. and because of the way the Electoral college works, if they win the rural states, they win the election. HRC lost because of not carrying 3 states, WI, MI, PA. a total of just 77,000 votes .Why would they not vote for Trump? They think that he is a great president and being repubs themselves, the electors will vote for that person. Why wouldn’t they?

Here in Eastern OK, people are ignoring stop signs, traffic lights, and speed limits. haven’t seen any cops anywhere, usually see 2 or 3 looking for speeders. Be Careful at stop signs and lights, some idiot might just ignore them and t bone you

OK, I did, but still no idea as presidential elections have nothing to do with congressional districts, it all about who wins the state. Granted a couple of states do assign Presidential electors based on who wins what district, but the vast majority of states still use the winner take all model

“Eliminate Gerrymandered Districts for Presidential elections” Please expand on this as I have no idea how Gerrymandered districts can have any effect on a Presidential election

Couldn’t say, honestly, first southerner I heard accent was so strong I could barely understand. Then again, I never thought I had an accent, turns out, I do. However I have only heard regional dialects in the states I have lived in Texas, Mississippi, Florida, Chicago, Boston, Delaware, Washington DC, California, both north and south, Seattle, Minnesota, Boston, Maine, Colorado, Hawai’i and Michigan. (Korea started hiring actual English speakers starting about 20 years ago to teach English in both Primary and HS) I was much surprised to hear Koreans speaking with an Australian Accent a few years ago.

Wife and I have for the past 40 years claimed zero deductions, so we usually get back about 95% of what we paid. A friend of my wife(she is 80) has to pay quarterly taxes on her income from stocks.
