Having read a lot of WWII history, I think you are right. The USSR could have just kept roaring on until they ran into US Plus there is an argument over exactly why the Japanese surrendered. Because we busted the nukes at the same time the USSR declared war on Japan. I tend to lean towards the USSR entering the war against the Japanese over the nukes for several reasons.

As did after shave, deodorant, american soap, or eating american diet. Just as we could smell the fish sauce they ate all the time, they could smell us, when we sweated we had a meat like smell. So very many ways they could find us just by smell. So could we. I ate a Korean diet while attached to a Korean unit, after about 3 months it was amazing how I could smell American soldiers long before seeing them

Really? you have to inject politics? Or, you are a repub and so regimented that you follow and say what your hero says, even when he lies-because you fail to actually check the facts-or are you just doing what the Koch Bros daily email is telling you to do.No matter, its very uncouth for you to inject politics into a family strip

Darsan, every war is different and is played by different rules. WWI and WWII and Korea, had real front lines and had attack strategy. Starting in the 50s, wars changed to Guerilla warfare where the enemy simply blended in with the population. Vietnam is where we discovered that spies were everywhere, heard and saw everything we did, making that and future wars far more difficult(See Afghanistan-going on what, 19 years? the start of forever war)

but it won’t because how many people ever bother to even look at the “terms of service” ? Most(I include myself) just scroll to the agree/disagree box and click on agree.

He wrote “Waiting for the Morning Train” about Benzonia MI-settled in 1858. MI was late to be settled in the more northern part of the state as one explorer said that the whole state was a swamp. I lived in Frankfort, the burial place of explorer Pere Marquette.(a couple of really nice pictures in Wikipedia)

Over past 40+ years, I have seen the right(Republicans) become more regimented and Authoritarian while the left(Dems) moved in the opposite direction-as Will Rogers supposedly once said, “being a Democrat is like trying to herd cats” As for the MSM being liberal. That is a myth cooked up by the right to try and disprove major newspapers investigations of various Republican Administrations.FYI over 96% of entire MSM-TV, Radio, Internet sites and Newspapers are owned by just 7 corporations, none of which are “liberal” and if you believe that they keep their mitts off of editorial policy then I have some prime ocean front property in Oklahoma I would like to sell you
