We all beg for bacon! Does it come before ham?

I don’t eat pigs, so for me, the delectation is avocado-lettuce-tomato with just a touch of real mayonnaise, black pepper, just a bit of salt, on rosemary focaccia. Yum.♥

I just had a bacon on focaccia bread this evening……Delicious!

I third that request for two helpings of BLT’s and you can give me the works! With American mustard, please. :) (stomach grumbles)

While I’ve never eaten bacon, I doubt it would go well; I learned from home-grilled burgers that meat + crunch = meat no longer in mouth.

Puck wants a sandwich, a piece of bacon between two slices of ham.

BLTs are a summer treat in my house. The tomatoes come straight out of the garden.

Just today I was thinking of having a BLT, actually a TBLT (turkey bacon, lettuce and tomato).

It even has a gurmlish, so you know it’s the real thing!

BLT? What’s that?

I was at a place not long ago that includes a “PB&J” among their pizza choices. Sounds disgusting, but it turns out it stands for “pepperoni, bacon and jalapeños”.

Family favorite was bacon and peanut butter on toast.

Their excitement over bacon always cracks me up!

I DO eat pork and I LOVE bacon!! Unfortunately I am on a salt free diet due to my Meneires disease. Have to be content with smelling it….

Sometimes there’s nothing better than BLT on toasted rye, with mayo and don’t forget a sprinkling of pepper. Yum!

BLTs are my absolute favorite! I love them for breakfast.

A BLT sanwhich is just an excuse to eat bacon

Every once in a while, as an extra-special treat, I’ll fix myself a grilled peanut butter, jam, banana and bacon sandwich.

It isn’t just for breakfast anymore.

My 2 kitties don’t like people or wet food. So my food is safe.

Shane Bacon is like a pea meal club working for the PGA.

My Grandma’s special treat when i was growing up – a slice of bread dipped in bacon grease. (the pan was drained of most of the grease and the bread picked up the fond on the bottom of pan.)

Mean! I can’t get real crispy bacon in Australia :( It’s hard to get it crisp without burning, there is not enough fat on the things. I keep saying I’m gonna get a meat slicer and make my own out of pork belly!

My cat does not like any pork – bacon or otherwise. His favorite meats to scrounge are rare beef and tender turkey. He is 50/50 on chicken. My wife does not like fish so that has not been tried.

Too cute. My dog would be in there begging but my cat oddly enough, hates bacon and won’t touch it. Yes I’ve tried him on it. He does that lip curl and paw shake thing and stomps away. Or he tries to bury it…

I have the occasional bacon, but the wife has switched to turkey. Can’t stand avocados, but I switched from lettuce (usually romaine) to thinly sliced cucumber. Use that on almost all my sandwiches, including burgers.

Well, I can’t leave today’s strip without bringing up chocolate covered bacon—definitely not for kitties but I love it. I seldom shop at Fresh Market because of the prices, but the last time I was there they had bacon chocolate bars—yummy!

Oh, BLT is okay, but make mine a BPB: bacon with peanut butter on toast! Mmmm!!!

Bacon & tomato no lettuce is my favorite way to have a BLT.

Elvis looks stunned, but not as thrilled as Puck and Lupin.

Come to think of it, I haven’t had a BLT in quite some time. At least a year, and probably two years. Just haven’t been in the mood for one when all three have been in the house at the same time, and when I’ve been in the mood, at least one of the ingriedents have been missing.

Funny story, some years ago, we were having these for dinner but were using spinach in place of lettuce, my stepdad doesn’t like tomatoes, so he was having a BS sandwich XD.

Native Californian. Avocados are a staple. They’re pretty good when you cut them in half and eat them with a spoon. Hot sauce is handy there.

I agree with the cats. Always hated raw tomato and lettuce is for salads, not sandwiches. Also hate mayonnaise. So, really, I’ll just take the bacon, thank you.

Of all the cats that have been in my life I only recall two that were bacon fiends. One moved on to the Catnip Fields a few years ago, the other just finished trying to rob my breakfast plate.
