Cats do science a lot. Because they so frequently defy gravity, they find it necessary to constantly test to see whether it is truly still in effect. It’s important work.♥

You’d think the word “fragile” would be a pretty good clue to the answer. XD;

Maybe tomorrow we will have a Pucky chart showing how much cat one pie will cover.

I am surprised that the cranberry tart has survived another day! But it looks like its demise is near. Unless it falls in comic slow motion, and a Woman in the form of deus ex machina saves the pie. Or is that dea?

We all just assumed the tart had dropped yesterday. It still hasn’t dropped today. There’s still time for a last minute rescue.

With n=1 you have an anecdote. You need to push at least 100 pies off the counter to get a meaningful bounce probability number.

Not the best place to stand, Puck. Especially since it’s Friday the 13th. Were I not such a light-hearted optimist, I might even suggest that you are doomed.

OT: as you may remember, just before I was “gracefully” ran over last year in 2019, I received a 5 week old kitten. and I had plans to have Ally spayed that fall. Well after months of taking care of myself with operations and therapy, Ally FINALLY got her spay yesterday! My question is, is it normal for her appetite to be slow last night and today? This morning her incision looks dry, but no heat or redness, she wriggled out of both the cone and onesie sweater. LOL

I do not see this ending well for anyone, especially Puck.

I did not know Goldie’s name (ineffable name) is Marigold! Also, red alert! Tart on the floor!!

Reminds me of Gallagher with a little Mr Wizard mixed in. I see Lupin and Puck are banking on plausible deniability

Friday the 13th or not, a black Puck cat can cross my path anyday. With that sunny disposition, and gleeful smile, I know he can’t put bad luck on anybody.

This just in—science has determined that tarts, in fact, go splat, not bounce.

This is amazing, and hopefully will answer that age old question: DO tarts bounce, or does it have to be a specific type of tart?

Bill Nye would be soooo proud.

Since the tart appears to still be steaming hot, I hope that nobody gets splatted upon if it happens not to bounce!

Since the advent of sexual equality the day has declined in popularity. See? Progress. When I look back on society’s, and my, attitudes back then, I am aghast.

Start a Rumor Day: Otherwise known as “Social Media Day.” Social media is about as social as a face plant. By the way, someone in Australia saw a pig and a wombat flying in formation and doing aerial acrobatics. I’ll bet this is on FacePlant and goes viral in a few hours, or maybe mere minutes.

I know lots of people don’t think cats should be outside, even in a safe environment, but one of the advantages is they aren’t so bored that they must destroy human stuff for funsies.

Cranberry tart’s don’t bounce. They splort. Now the dish their in might bounce before spraying cranberry tart filling everywhere.
