Well, so is the maskless person costume.

She should be wearing a mask too.

Oh we’re just preparing for the economic collapse in November. Get ready for a 1800’s relapse! We take can foods, leather goods, and melee weapons.

Well, wait till next year when all the Doctor Deaths visit.

Mask humor was okay for awhile but has gotten stale, and I wonder how long it will be until it runs its course.

Several years ago my housemate and I were deathly ill with an intestinal bug on Halloween. We put a sign on the door that said plague house. Didn’t get a single knock.

Good one.

I have my surgeon’s outfit ready to go, with mask and gloves. All I need now is to bloody it up some. Oh, yeah — and trick or treaters. I’ll need a few of those!

We live on an unlit cul-de-sac out in the woods. In the almost 23 years we have lived here I don’t believe we’ve had a single trick-or-treater. Not expecting any this year either. For a few years we would buy a couple of bags of candy (only something we liked) and carved a pumpkin but we’ve even given up that.

That took me a minute!
