On topic: going to the store to get something for tomorrow’s potluck at work. Since Robin is dooming us by refusing to do his job of keeping the snacks flowing, anyone want anything while I’m there?

Off topic: on the subject of jobs, decided not to accept the other offer, at least not for right now. I have inside knowledge that another opening will come available next spring. Also, the Woman and I plan to buy a house shortly after the first of the year, and 16 years job time looks better than 5 months job time to a lender.

Could the doctor in disguise be Kit Chase to rescue Angora from evil Doctor and Brad? Hummmmmm

As a modern female who disdains stereotypical gestures that are designed to pander to my assumed femininity, I ordinarily find floral offerings to be beneath me … BUT DANG! just look at that bouquet! It’s so enormous it busts into the other panels!! :-O Too bad it’s from Brad …

That guy Brad is just so . . . slick.

So we already knew Georgia was a lover of Soaps—and apparently raised on them! Either sadly or amazingly she has captured the entire gist of what they do (regardless of which one it is) and turned Our IX Lives into a real HOOT of a soap…the characters are right out of central casting, the dialog and mannerisms appropriately cheesy and almost as slow moving as the ‘real’ soaps. In short, AMAZINGLY REAL LIFE!!!

I didn’t realize how busy I had been this week until I tuned in today. I haven’t been here since Sunday. I knew life just wasn’t right. I’m all caught up now and things can get back to normal or my version or it anyway.

Don’t fall for Brad ‘s scheme. It’ll result in Dooom and Grooom!

I got the best surprise for international cat day tonight. “Our cat”, the fully white furball visited us tonight! I gave it many crunchy munchy chips that it likes and we spent about an hour together on my cave’s little porch. Sadly, something had chewed off a bit off its left year. Probably a nasty mean ol’ tom mat be the culprit.

I’m having a great time with this soap. Grew up with Days of Our Lives, Another World and The Doctors. Here’s a joke about soap operas and how slowly the plot advances: Sally laments to a friend she hasn’t seen in a long time, “I never get to see my soap any more.” Jane says, “Oh, I can catch you up. When did you quit watching?” Sally, “Oh, gosh, it’s been about 10 years—that’s when I went back to work. I’m on my lunch break now and don’t have much time!” Jane, “That’s no problem! Later that afternoon ….”
