   Breen recently left the San Diego Union……..the UT now owned by Southern California News Group, which owns every paper in SoCal, except the LA Times.

   In the early 90’s I would see him every day(dressed always in black) at the Rancho Santa Fe (San Diego) Golf Club. He would play 2 rounds a day. Every one knew him——and he couldn’t have been nicer!
