Fungus can actually be the source of some pretty good materials. Of course, biodegradability is only an advantage for some products.

What’s the point of using a biodegradable coffin. If you want biodegradability just drop the body in the hole without a coffin.

Kinda funny that two men get married on a giant weiner.

I’m not surprised about the fruit bus stops in Japan. They do a lot of quirky things that are utterly delightful.

In our area the regional newspaper advertise “Reerdigung”. The body will be composted in about 40 days. Would get martied in a Wiener-Würstchen-Chappel be better or worse than in Vegas with an odd kind of “Elvis”?

I was driving on that highway in Japan many years ago. Disappointed that I did not see Totoro at any of the stops. Thought I saw Kiki though.

Ripley’s often uses an actual photo as the basis for their artwork. The photo of these two men can be found on Twitter. I can only hope they chose it because they felt that showing two men is as valid an illustration of marriage as showing a man and a woman, or two women, would be. Hopefully no one at Ripley’s was snickering over the image and thinking of (or making) some of the tasteless and offensive comments being posted here.
