Well, that certainly answers my question from yesterday.

Now, onto my next comment . . . why does the male curiosity in me suddenly want to see some action between Tiff and Bets? (Yes, I know they’re only joking, but that look in their faces though. . . .)

I’ve literally stopped reading this strip for like 2 months, came back to it, and NOTHING has changed.

Today’s strip is funny and doesn’t insult anyone. Bets makes a little word play and that it. It’s great to see “Luann” being funny without being at anyone’s expense.

Well, that kinda settles the NSFW status between Gunther & Bets… Although if Gunther visits Bets at Tiffany’s place, there always the chance that Tiff is gonna come out of the shower when he’s around like she did in the Dorm, and that’s liable to set off Bets’ alarm bells….

Oh brother. Just say No. Trouble in River City ahead. Doesn’t Tiffany need to clear any of this with her father first? It is his mansion not hers.

Sure…. Then Bets would get half of everything that Tiff owns, right?

I’ve always maintained since her arrival, that Bets was here for somebody other than Gunther.

All kidding aside, Tiff should say “Yes!”

To the “living at the mansion” part that is.

With the CONDITIONS that:

1) Tiff’s dad is informed and approves, FIRST.

2) The neighbors are so informed so that there are no “misunderstandings.” All too often, “misunderstandings” in the real world lead to arrests. Or WORSE. I specifically refer to the real life “incident” where a nosy neighbor called the cops on this college professor that got home late one night. And the guy LIVED AT THAT HOUSE IN THAT NEIGHBORHOOD! ( The whole thing ended up at a beer summit hosted by President Obama)

3) Bets is not permitted to make podcasts while living inside the mansion. Don’t wanna “accidentally” give crooks a shopping list.

Tiff might want to inquire as to WHY Bets wants to live at the Farrell mansion as opposed to moving back home with Her folks for the Summer.

Some “folks” here, would like to know. ;-)

This is really nice. Once again, we see Bets avoid spending quality time with her family. The fact that Tiffany doesn’t want to know why she’s avoiding them and jokes with her already makes their friendship stronger and deeper. I hope they have fun together in these few months of “marriage” ♡. Maybe next year Tiffany will be free to Stef and share the room with Bets.

I’m really liking their friendship as it develops. Bets is growing on me when she dpoesn’t have a camera pointed at herself. The dialog overall has gotten a lot better in the past few months.

Funny lines in the 3rd frame. Clever. Could lead into a deeper revelation and background about why Bets avoids going “home”.

She’d better talk to her father about turning the mansion into a combination storage unit and boarding house.

It’s been far too long since I enjoyed the strip, too many character whiny or stupid (if not both). Last couple days, and especially today, have been delightful. (This, of course, only represents my opinion. Some may find whiny stupid characters amusing.)

Does Tiffany mean that she would perform the wedding ceremony for Gunther and Bets? That makes more sense that thinking that Bets wants to marry Tiffany, even though Tiff is kidding.

Tiffany moved on to campus because she felt lonely in that big house by herself. This could be good for both.

A lot of interesting comment today. I don’t think Gunther will be moving in anytime soon nor do I see some non-platonic relationship happening between Bets and Tiff. I can see Bets and Tiff becoming good friends and opening up to each other. Maybe Bets will share why she didn’t want to go home for the summer, Tiff shares how she feels about an absent father, etc. There’s also the potential future arcs revolving around some type of businesses that Bets comes up with and Tiff jumps on. Lots of ways this could go. Looking forward to where Greg is going to take us this summer.

Bets has said before that she wasn’t happy with her life at home. Maybe when she lives with Tiffany, we’ll get an arc where Bets tells all about her past. That would likely be interesting.

After seeing what is going on in their campus housing, I would be back in that old empty mansion in Tiffany’s place.
