At work, Friday After Thanksgiving is always very slow. One woman, before she retired, would make us latkes every Thanksgiving Friday. It was wonderful.

What’s Caulfield doing in that classroom? He must have heard about Pancake Monday.

Looks like the seagull has its eyes on Amelia’s pancakes.

Maybe the teacher wants him up front, so she is closer to the food.

Back in the day at my school we used to have a blocked schedule, class was almost two hours. So when we did the colonial era in my 8th grade social studies class I would always let the kids cook a Thanksgiving meal. We used to have some real feasts.

In a county in a state where 80% of the students in school depend on the school for their breakfast and lunch, perhaps the only meals they will eat in a day, Wallace is a hero.

My son had to give a demonstrative speech. We made 30 snickerdoodles and packed up ingredients, a hand mixer, and a portable convection oven. He passed out the snickerdoodles as an example of the results, mixed a fresh batch, and put them in the convection oven. Everyone got to enjoy the smell of fresh baking and a fresh hot cookie after class.

Where does Will Henry get his ideas?
