Well-meant but as proven by the number of scared, traumatized dogs in the world, it’s not possible to ‘make’ them dangerous. Plenty of very nice dogs are treated badly and they still have faith in people—more than the few who might actually bite, and bite cases are more common in well-loved family dogs who think it’s okay to let the kids climb all over the dog… so… this sign should just say “Beware of people who mistreat dogs, for they are dangerous.”

I’m so confused on the parents’ ages… this makes it seem like they’re 40, but there was also an older strip with a lava lamp showing dad young in the 60s? I mean, either way, since everything about this is timeless.

Just so—woman goes to live with man, and instead of just taking care of herself, she finds herself taking care of/managing/cleaning up after a grown adult, she loses her mind because it shouldn’t be possible, embraces her power, and turns to ‘witchcraft’ i.e. not taking anyone’s bs anymore. Can generally be avoided by each party being equally helpful for pleasant and unpleasant tasks, and by communicating clearly and respectfully. Any fruit can be soured with enough vinegar.
