I remember in the mid 80’s Microsoft flight simulator had a Function button that you’d press when you were supposed to be working and it take go to a fake spread sheet so it looked like you were working. It was very convincing.
I loved blowing up stuff on the on the 4th. Then I grew up and worked as a technician on a research vessel after I got my degree in geology. We were doing seismic work with the Australians so my company (Columbia University) sent me to DuPont blasting school to learn how to use explosives. We had 25 tons of explosives on board and it was fun and terrifying at the same time.
I was once talking with a person who worked for an airline and he serviced the airplane at the gate. He told me the most disgusting part of his job was when he had to work near the air conditioning outline and there was a brown liquid dripping from it. This was when smoking was still allowed. He quit smoking within weeks.

I was in Stockholm and went the Vasa museum. The ship was salvaged and placed in a huge shed to be preserved. Most of the ship was salvaged as it sunk in the harbor and buried in mud without oxygen so the wood didn’t decay.
