The vacuum sucks up every thing that’s in the way.

Nature abhors a vacuum….so do cats

I think i hate them for the same reason the cat does—my ears.

Our cat wasn’t afraid of anything. You could bump him with the vacuum and he just ignored it.

Our Cat does the same thing but he is not fond of the broom either.

Our smallest mutt attacks the handvac, but runs from the big one.

All I have to do is get the vacuum out of the closet and the cats run away…

Vacuum cleaners sound to cats and dogs what jet engines sound to us.

The obvious solution: Someone needs to invent cat ear muffs.

Keeping them on the cat will be the human’s problem, of course.

I have 3 cats . 2 hide from the vacuum. 1 does not.

Over sixty years ago we had a parakeet (I was perhaps 5 or 6 at the time) that would land on the vacuum cleaner bag while the vacuum was being operated. Every pet I’ve been around since then, both dogs and cats, would flee to another part of the house. Even the 2 or 3 parakeets we’ve had since then have just hunkered down at the bottom of the cage.

… so you ACTUALLY beat him with the broom? (Not criticizing, cuz, y’know, cats.)

Luddie is a sensitive kitty.

My dogs don’t like the vacuum, either.

Our Yorkie hated vacuum cleaners. Now we have a robotic vacuum cleaner. I wish he was still around to see what he would think of the robot…. but mostly just to have the little guy around.
