If anything, some are increasing mask use.

How many do you want? Pick up the phone and have them delivered. If you are worried have them leave them on the porch and ring the bell.

OMG, it’s as if JJ transcribed my recent remarks as I was at the fridge.

From the recent planned emergency shopping trip a Full Disclosure:

So I told myself, “Hey Self, look at all the $$ you are saving by staying home. So, splurge on the good stuff. And, BTW Self, you know you have been thinking about it for quite some time so WHY NOT! Yes, Mr. Cashier, I will take a bottle of Hennessy and a bottle of Courvoisier.”

“Oh yeah, you kids get offa my lawn and take your asinine pandemic parties out of state.”

Not sure how much longer my Kingdom will last BUT I am Master Of My Domain! I wish I could remember if that is good or bad. What I have to remember next time however is to double the order of cognacs.

I try to always wear a mask going into stores, but here in northernmost Maine where we are already pretty well isolated, most people do not wear them. Southern Maine has more cases, but I fear that tourist will bring more Covid-19 cases to the area. Stay healthy.

People went out in crowds, maskless and without keeping their distance from each other. Now our state is one of those with spiking cases (even beyond the extras that are apparent due to easier access to testing.) We’ve been careful all along, even when going out. I’ve been inside only two stores and took extra precautions then because, sadly, other people aren’t, and I’ve got a 90+ y.o. mom to look after. Just as a reminder: Wearing a mask is not a sign of fear; it’s a sign of caring for your fellow human and doing what you can not to spread the virus. Sadly, it seems that too many Americans have forgotten JFK’s exhortation to “ask what you can do for your country.” In this case it’s as simple as wearing a mask and keeping your distance. Oh yes — and being kind to those essential workers.

I’m certainly seeing more people out on the streets than I did two months ago, but more of the people on the streets are properly masked.

I get the impression, that what’s left in the bottle is for Janis. If he wants a glass, he may have to go out because he has to.

Just a note because nobody else with sense listens to me (outside my family and a small circle of friends): All this time my biggest frustration was that one or the other of my eyes would itch at the inside corner, so I would have to find a tissue to press on it to stop the itch. Today I noticed if I press on my nose where the glasses pad rests the itch goes away!

Gee, we are still basically under a stay at home order – encouraged as much as possible – other than needed items and limited other shopping has opened up and limited outdoor restaurant seating is allowed.
