This reminds me of some people’s concept of morality. “Well, technically speaking, it’s not illegal.” They plan on having their lawyer with them when they reach the Pearly Gates. (Yeah, I know, let’s hunker down for all the lawyers in hell jokes.)

Ok, I’ve shoveled a lot of snow in my life. How does dad get to knee deep in the snow with no path in any direction? Yes, I know he could have waded, but why do that if you’re shoveling a path?
