There obviously can’t be any truth to that Icelandic tale because cats don’t know if you got new clothes for Christmas or not. A tiger would probably try to eat you even if you did get new clothes for Christmas.

I think the cat is smart enough to still recognize you in new clothes. I say give him some tuna and he’ll calm right down.

That cat would have eaten me several times over. And what about poor people who never get anything for Christmas?

If you got lumps of coal for Christmas, you could throw them at the cat.

What is it with Northern Europe and Nightmarish Christmas legends? First the Krampus, and now the Yule cat..

Speculation is that it was a combination of soybeans, wheat, hemp, flax and ramie.

Proud to say I’ve never watched The Walking Dead. Tried to once and laughed so much it made my wife mad. So, Shark Tank re-runs it’s been.

Andrew Lincoln did a really good job at it. After watching several episodes, I saw him in an interview and was really surprised with his Brit accent.

Coffee, not sweet tea with his fried chicken? That explains his dubious “accent”.

Illinois one year made license plates from soy beans. One year only, because farmers were complaining that their goats were eating them!

I’m guessing the legend began as a ploy to make kids grateful they got clothes instead of toys.

I know someone in England who worked on constructing Andrew Lincoln’s beach house there. Swears he’s the nicest guy in the world – would bring the construction crew coffee and pastries all the time and hang out.
