I have to say for a little dog, Puddles has astounding leaping abilities.

Especially if you enjoy getting muddy.

Gonna get dog-down-and-dirty. Just pray he didn’t find something to roll in.

Does Jack’s shirt say “Remember me Thursday”? One pet adoption day/week? hmmmm…. interesting shirt and graphic. Meanwhile, heads up Luann!

Today is a good example of why there aren’t four panels in the typical Luann Sunday strip.

Awww. After a week about cats a Sunday about dogs. Great♡. And is good to see Luann and Jack spend time together. They are such a great duo/couple. And, of course, GO PUDDLES!!!!!!!! Make Luann’s Sunday even more unforgettable!

Now we see the reason for last weeks cats episode. For some reason Greg and/or Karen are into pets and veterinary. Even this dog park scene relates back to the episode where Luann convinced Jack that vet tech was vocation to which he could aspire.

And they bring us mud too.

Don’t be too smug, Jack. Max is about to render the air unbreathable.

Why I’ve never owned a dog. Yuck.

I think that the comfort and joy is about to end.

In my household, Puddles is about to do an “Up Puppy!”

And, of course, when a dog gets dirty, the dog gets happy!

we’ll never know the true ending of this arc as this is the solitary sunday strip. however, fill in the blanks as you will. Luann will most likely be disgustingly surprised and then accept Puddles antics with a wry and loving smile.

… and a lot of dirt and smells.

If you take your dog to an off-leash park and expect to stay clean, you’re doing it wrong.

Must be an off leash park. Hey Luann, how about running and playing with him?

Luann is about to get a surprise that she does NOT want!!!! Also, I feel that Jack has simply become a good friend now. If there was going to be a spark between them it would have happened by now.

A match made in heaven

PaDUMdeDUMDUM! SO cute, and Luann is so clean and cute, as is Jack, as if both want to look that way for the person they meet to dog-walk with regularly. And Puddles is about to muddy all that up, as happy dogs are wont to do. But, and I know I always do this, but hey it’s me, I think the real meaning of this is how they relate to each other. They respect, like, and are good with each other, have the same interests, dogs being s part, Jack is not some hands dragging on the ground simpleton, as some here like to portray him, he is a real, decent, loyal, handsome, perfect partner for Luann. Far better than Quill IMHO anyway. When, or mght the GnK team pull the trigger on this relationship? Luann is young, but she is ready for a future with someone, and Jack would be (and I think is) the future. Now MD, is Les Tiffany’s future?

Todays strip really needs just 1 more panel

Our small dog can jump up on the couch and on the bed, all by himself. He is a mongrel, 9 years old and currently weighs 11 lbs.

I really like this Jack character. I do keep hoping LuAnn ends up with him.

Awww, this explains the previous week’s arc. And I, for one, found it charming and endearing, and I kinda hope it doesn’t end. Also, I think Lu and Jack are good for each other.

I like the dog silhouettes in the background; looking forward to another arc about Jack’s veterinary ambition and studies.

Jack is full of joy, thanks to Max. Luann may be excused for perhaps feeling a little neglected….
