The important thing to remember is that there is no such thing as a bad pun

    so sad …

and sadly force of will is what Trump is trying to do with the facts today … and it is hard to believe that so many people buy into it. I think they buy into it only because they feel somehow vindicated by Trump’s behavior – but why? That is the confusing thing.

quite an apt statement ed. wonder what gave it away …

how he comes up with a bad pun is Patsis probably starts with a pun and works backward. sometimes he has to stretch a bit to get to the pun. and then he ingeniously has to put the proper character in place to play out the pun – with Rat giving the finale on his displeasure on the pun, which can be funnier than the pun. in either case, good pun or bad, we all win!

Varvel is blaming the Congress for the deficit, when it was the Republican’s control of both houses a couple years back when the great Tax Cut came into being to solve everything. Nothing got solved and the deficit got bigger – thanks to the Republican House, Senate and Presidency.
