More productive than the meetings I’ve had at work.

Kind of interesting how Calvin and Hobbes’ favorite thing about GROSS is the constant fighting they do.

Almost reminds me of real-world political parties.

The {G}et {R}id {o}f {S}limy Girl{s} club sure is grand when the members thereof fight amongst themselves.

I wish I could join this club.

I don’t think any girl would want to join this club, to much fighting.

A bit like Parliament, but much more intellectual.

I know where they should take this club, but I don’t think everybody in Washington DC who makes more than custodians and secretaries would fit,

If they called the club GROG (Get Rid of Slimy Girls), they could have some and they wouldn’t fight so much.

Later on in life he’ll be looking for a gross of girls….

The thing I remember most about this strip as a kid is learning 4 new insults.

Kinda like the UN, but without the “truce” part.

Seems a normal session of the Italian Parliament when the TVs are on air .

I can’t decide whether this reminds me more of Congress or the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

That is one intelligent tiger. I actually had to research the meaning of “comeuppance”. I’ve never heard of that word before now.

I’ve had friends in the Security industry tell me about times they have been called to stand in a conference room during meetings to try to prevent the meeting from turning into this!

Every G.R.O.S.S. meeting is mostly about mutiny and dictatorship, rather than getting rid of slimy girls.

The Heman Woman Haters Club was better.

The ‘negotiations’ over the ‘slanted’ minutes appear to have been exhausting, but still they came out as friends. Good lesson there.

What about the minutes from this meeting? Did Hobbes take them down?

Some of these panels would seem to have been ripped from today’s Oval Office Headlines…

And, @Mr_Cool: “comeuppance” is a word many of us hope will describe 2020.

Their “ meeting “ reminds me of city council meetings.

Reminds me of some of our union meetings back when they served beer before the meeting! Some were quite colorful! Ahh! the good old days………….

We really need to up our meetings at my office.

This is how the real corporate minutes of the meeting are made. I didn’t know Bill was aware of this ruckus which are called as meetings! I just adore both Calvin and Hobbes for this demo.

I say this week’s fight is a draw.

So, if this is allegorical to our current political situation here in the US (maybe England too), we are up to panel 9. Exhaustion resulting in compromise and shared satisfaction is just around the corner!

Seems like a smaller version of UK’s Parliament.
