“And what is their connection with the 17¢ in change in my pocket, an orange in Spud’s refrigerator, and a loose paving stone in Paris near the Louvre?”
“Wallace… I’d say you’re overthinking this… But I’m not sure you’re thinking.”
They’re all cryptids, although extraterrestrial aliens aren’t usually put in that category. They’re all forms of life that have been reported by multiple sightings but no solid evidence has ever been turned up. Have there been any serious reports of mermaids recently? There were a couple fake or half-serious documentaries a few years ago as I recall. Bigfoot has at least left a lot of tracks and there are hard castings made, along with lots of reports and controversial photos and videos. I don’t count photos and videos of UFOS or UAPs as evidence for aliens — all we see are moving spots of light, others are obviously fake, and at any rate you never see the actual aliens. The videos of aliens (alive or dead) that I’ve seen have been obviously fake. There’s enough evidence, though to have reasonable suspicions that there are things beyond our common experience and knowledge, and some of the experiences seem to be demonic, but it’s all “out there” beyond our ability to pin down much for certain.
Assuming that there’s a connection, it would seem that they are all are currently unprovable legends that may have some basis in fact. Two of those three l believe in myself…..

Rose, what are you doing at Wallace’s house if you weren’t expecting something of this nature?

All of them are imaginary, but people still believe in them.

Looks like they are in the only clean, empty attic room I have ever seen or heard of.

I don’t know, but I sure wish just ONE of the pictures of Bigfoot didn’t have him standing behind a bush.

It is a joke, Rose. A cosmic joke. And the cryptids are the ones laughing!

According to Wallace’s Dad stories, Mom’s a mermaid, and Sterling is an alien. So Bigfoot, either Dad or Wallace himself?

I wonder if there were attempts at a fourth panel, where Wallace spins the chalkboard around to reveal “The Big Board”.

Well, there are groups that believe Bigfoots are aliens, or aliens are taxi drivers for them. But that leaves out the mermaid.

An alien watched as Bigfoot strolled by leading a unicorn with a mermaid lounging on top. Mr Henry, would you draw that scene sometime?
