Hilarious was the reaction of the split-screen right-wing talking heads on NesMax. One buried his head in agony, and the other three were slack-jawed gobsmacked. Finally, one said “What the he11 was THAT!?” and the guy who had buried face tried to regain his composure, shook his head, and said “Well, I’m sure she’s a very nice lady… but…”

This reminds me of a hilarious Gary Larsen “Far Side” cartoon, where three ghosts are sneaking up on some children. One of them is grinning and holding a flashlight under his chin, and the leader ghost snaps at him, “Knock it off, Carl! We’re trying to scare these little kids, not crack ’em up!”

As a Republican, the only thing I hate worst than whiny, doomsday, fatalistic talk from the LEFT is whiny, doomsday, fatalistic talk from the RIGHT. The world has its challenges. It is not collapsing. The U.S. is in a good position. We can do a number of things better.

Katie Britt was valedictorian in high school. She then went to college, where she became Student Body President, and then to law school, where she earned her J.D. She ran a long-shot, innovative, successful campaign for the Senate against others and won. Finally, she was picked to offer the Republican response to the SOTU.

And the Republicans put her in a kitchen for the speech. I’m surprised that they didn’t also make her barefoot and pregnant. That is how little Republicans value women in this country.

President Biden’s right. What women’s rights are they going to take away next if Trump regains power? What freedoms are going to be suspended?

Help build the BLUE WAVE. Take back the House, increase the majority of the Senate, and keep the Presidency. The alternative is too terrible to comprehend.

It amazes me that the GQP thought this was the way to reach people. I’m sure the hard-core tRumpers were nodding their heads, but the rest of America was shaking theirs.

Thank goodness I didn’t stay tuned for that SOTU rebuttal! Though I would love to see SNL do a parody of it. Katie Britt is whining about the border, while helping to scuttle the bipartisan border bill she co-sponsored because Trump didn’t like it. As well as demonizing feminism, when she and her fellow “pretty girl” Republicans (like Ann Coulter, who coined that phrase) have clearly reaped feminism’s benefits. Decades ago, want ads in the paper were separated by male and female jobs and married women could only get credit cards in their husband’s name. Maybe if we took away their credit cards, they’ll start singing a different tune.

She appeared very unstable, almost bipolar. I hope she is okay.
