Finland was big on the internet quite early. I remember downloading landscape files for Microsoft Flight Simulator from the Garbo FTP server at the University of Vaasa.

if only 1 in 1,000,000 hit your site, and there’s 500,000,000 online, someone will check you out eventually. i’m still getting views on my YT vids of a game that went offline in 2015. people are weird.

And it doesn’t strike Mike as suspicious that millions of guys want to watch a pre-teen girl 24/7? Apparently the 90s were much more innocent.

I’m of Alex’s generation, and I don’t get the appeal of this either.

There are people on YouTube that make a living doing stuff like this.

I remember internet coke machines.

Don’t think skinny little girl will attract many viewers.

It’s not what she does, it the concept of watching someone in another country do things via computer. But Alex was in the early days of that. Now people set themselves on fire for views.

And today we have people watching other people play video games. Talk about spectator sports!
