I’m of the opinion that if there WERE a heaven and hell, they’d be the same place: You would end up in heaven if your attitude lets you enjoy where you are, and in hell if it doesn’t.
There was a comic book series called, of all things, “Johnny The Homicidal Maniac.” One story featured him going to heaven, for some reason, where an angel showed him around. Turned out heaven, according to that comic’s plot, was row after row after row of wooden chairs. And a person sitting in each. Johnny found this baffling. THIS was eternity? Moreover, this was HEAVEN?? That was when the angel explained. No, the people in those chairs weren’t bored. There was no boredom in heaven. Their backsides didn’t hurt from the wooden chairs; there was no pain in heaven either. They didn’t want to go anywhere or do anything. They were perfectly content, and at peace. It was heaven, after all. And that makes a disturbing amount of sense.
Heaven is finding perfect contentment and peace in God, being in right relationship with Him and His creation. It’s giving glory and praise to the greatest Being in existence, and enjoying all He has made, having perfect joy in receiving whatever He gives, whenever He gives it, knowing it is the best possible good coming from His loving hand.
I used to work at a local hardware store and we DID have a popcorn machine. The city came by and said we were preparing food and needed a restaurant license (big money), we would have to be inspected, everyone who made popcorn or bagged popcorn for the kids would need a food handlers license. Good bye popcorn machine. There’s government for you, never letting common sense getting in the way of a regulation.
all false. the Bible itself has the words: " eye has not seen, nor ear heard the wonders He has for us there…". can you imagine being able to get to other inhabited planets just by thinking yourself there? This & more will be possible!
Heaven is where the police are English, the cooks are French, the mechanics are German, the lovers are Italian, and everything is organized by the Swiss.
Hell is where the police are German, the cooks are English, the mechanics are French, the lovers are Swiss, and everything is organized by the Italians.

Heaven is either one of those stores where the restroom isn’t out of service and the thing you want is not out of stock.

Don’t overlook serendipity. Heaven would be a good place to find it.

If Gracie Allen went to heaven that might explain a lot of what’s going on in the world. God is confused.

I’m all in on the popcorn machine in the back. The smell will drawn you in. Usually with far too much salt.

Interesting to see so many inaccuracies and so much historical error presented with as much dogmatic certainty as any religious dogma ever is.

In heaven there is no want. You don’t need anything, no food, no money, no need for shelter.
I just hope it is not like the version I heard that was said by Mark Twain. Sitting in a boring church for eternity.

The first thing I want to do is sign up for the heavenly choir to sing praises for Jesus to thank Him for letting me in.

I have no use for “Heaven”. I’d rather have another chance down here to start over and do a better job.
