Maybe they could find one that would do a twofer, and take Max from Stone Soup as well.

  2. 7 days ago on Stone Soup Classics

After a while, watching a child turn from precocious to obnoxious due to an absolute lack of adult guidance gets old.

  3. 29 days ago on Working Daze

Yeah, but that whole leash thing brings up another series of questions about Jay

All year long I was waiting for a retelling of that tale set at Mar A Lago.

I grew up on the Lake Erie shore, just south of Buffalo,so I can relate as well. Now I live in Florida where week long hurricane generated outages are a regular thing and the only thing I can say is that, if your going to be without power, I prefer that it’s 70 degrees outside over 7.

More than the thermostat, I feel it’s a comment on how we feel that electric power at the touch of a finger is normal and how we feel deprived when it’s interrupted for any length of time

How about making it simple, like “Thugs-R-Us”?

  8. about 1 month ago on On A Claire Day

One of the first things I learned when cooking for “country club” people was that if I labeled an entree in French I could charge more for it.

I don’t know if “fine” is the correct adjective. In my youth I knew an elderly Italian grandpa who made his own and would occasionally share a new batch with friends. I can’t comment on bouquet, but it did knock your socks off.

I have some high school friends [class of ’66] who drank all the Kool Aide and are now breathlessly posting on where My Pillow is still available. They apparently need to stock up for when antifa seizes their bedding along with their guns.
