Long time readers of the strip may remember Lemmings Leap, a cliff that the lemmings used to jump off to try to commit suicide. Fortunately Pig didn’t decide to jump off that cliff. The lemmings, like a lot of characters, haven’t appeared in the strip in years.

Just wait until a Cliff tries to jump off of you.

Looks like the well is finally starting to run dry for Pastis.

And that’s why he’s called Pig Hanger.

So many questions come to mind! I.E. Why is he on Cliffs shoulder?

If there was a swimming pool below him he would be a Cliff Diver.

What if Pig doesn’t jump today?

Will we find out tomorrow? Will he still be there?

What if he slips while he’s up there? This could be a real cliff hanger?

I used to know 5 Cliffs, and I would take them here and there in my car. Unfortunately, one passed away. Now I’m a 4 Cliff driver.

Pastis seems stuck in a rut. Pretty much the same Rat, Pig, Goat bits. Bring back the crocs! I know they were overused at one time, but that was quite a few years ago.

The balloon must have burst and he landed on a Cliff.

Pig taking things literally reminds of this guy I knew years ago. When I once said to express surprise ‘Well I’ll be a monkey’s uncle!‘; he replied ’Your sister married a monkey?’

Similarly, Cliff should not risk trying to make sense of what Pig is doing with him….
