BIDEN is dividing Americans? Donald Trump, the moment he realized WHO was dying of Covid, instead of rallying Americans to unite to solve the problem he saw an opportunity to stoke division and anger instead; to deal with it politically rather than scientifically. A million people are dead, many needlessly.

That speech by Biden was taken from the old playbook of Hitler and Stalin. A true demagogue and a deceiver.

I think trump is the one the one that did the dividing, Biden is just pointing out that all republicans aren’t traitors, only the ones that trump already separated from the rest of the country.

Biden’s reckless, rage-filled speech shows nothing in his evil mind but hate and divisiveness. Conveying that was his intent, but not his only intent. His words were carefully crafted to spark violence from what he sees as an enemy force. He won’t succeed here. Nor will his Hail Mary last-ditch political speech have any effect on the November elections.

Actually, Varvel is correct this time. Only not the way he is intending. Conservatives are fractured into MAGAS, christian conservatives, conventional conservatives, and avatars, split as to which right-wing political pundit or personality forms their opinions for them. President Biden and his administration’s accomplishments have confused conservatives as to which direction of instigated hate they are supposed to take.

If America is becoming more divided, it’s only because of hatred from the Party of Hate.

I think it is so hilarious how these people think the country is “divided” when the leadership supports views they don’t agree with… but if the leadership supports THEIR values, nothing is divided. As if the people who don’t agree with them don’t even exist.

The point is Biden is further fracturing the Public. He pledged Unity when he took office. Yelling and coming off as the same type of bully as his predecessor only further divides the country. Apparently his handlers only see divisiveness.

Gee, Trump’s attempts to organize an insurrection to overthrow the government wasn’t devisive, was it Gary? And Graham’s attempt to prime another insurrection isn’t either?

Funny how the Capitol riot/insurrection started before Biden was even in office.

A few thoughts on the speech: 1) I would have preferred someone had thought through the optics a bit better. All it seems to have done is take the focus off of the words. 2) I would have preferred a much broader indictment of Trump and his more extreme followers, connecting what is going on here to similar movements around the world. Orban, Bolsonaro, Putin, Assad, etc. should have been put up as a comparison to the more extreme MAGA crowd. He did so previously, I was surprised he didn’t again. 3) I’ve always thought definition of terms mattered. The phrase that “Biden is divisive” is interesting. It seems to me that the critics of Biden’s definition is “if you don’t agree with exactly with what I say you are divisive”. This “group-think” is at the heart of what it means to be a fascist. Please note, I am only pointing out that is a characteristic of fascist leadership. 4) When you bottom-line it here’s what you have: follow Trump no matter what, if you had been for him but now speak against him you are an apostate and shall be condemned as “RINO”. If you are one of the “other side” you should simply shut up and accept all of the excesses, the ignorance and the grift of the worst president in US History.

Biden’s doing a great job at it. Run on that for 2024.

Some people need a reminder of something currently being misdefined: Destruction of religion. Gun confiscation. Identification of enemies as a unifying cause. Disdain for individual rights. Control over energy. Control over mass-media. Control over communication. School indoctrination. Attacks on free speech. Warrant-less spying. Doomsday fear mongering. Labeling people as enemies because of what they believe.

These are the things they believe in and want you to believe in too.

Any other interpretations are false because they don’t line up with the true believer’s faith.
