Many people think the public health response to a global virus that just appeared a couple of years ago should follow a fixed game plan, and they get angry when the plan changes.
But many of those same people think it is fine for coaches to modify their game plan at half-time. As if 22 football players and their rule book are more complicated than 7.9B people and a virus that follow no rules.
I value cartoons that don’t simply re-enforce my left-leaning views, but the cartoon needs some intellectual merit. That is harder to find. This toon has class clown level of merit.
Can’t happen soon enough. As a teen, I was riveted to the Watergate hearings. The 1-6-2021 insurrection is far more consequential than the 6-17-1972 burglary and cover-up.
