He suddenly realized the gravity of the situation.

I’m surprised he didn’t drop when he looked down. Maybe that’s where the three seconds comes in.

BC must have read the by-laws of gravity…

FINALLY! After a looooong wait, we get a response from the cartoon-makers to all concerned in forums about how characters can break the law of physics! “Three-second rule” :D

There is always an instant before we fall; that is what “instants” are for.

In cartoons, gravity only affects you if you look down. I thought everyone knew this.

Okay, I’ll let that rule fly if you give me the 3 second rule for dropped food.

Come on People, I mean seriously, Isaac Newton hasn’t been born yet, which means gravity doesn’t exist.
