He’s right. In about 75 years that cemetery will be condos if the land becomes valuable as it does in some places. So far no “residents” who get moved have complained.
I grew up in an old Connecticut town, where the town cemetery had graves and gravestones that went back to the 1600s. As a kid, I loved walking through that section of the cemetery and trying to read those ancient tombstones. It was a history and archeology lesson rolled into one.
I always just wanted to kick off in the back yard and let the critters chow down on my corpse, the way nature intended. Circle of life, and all that. For some reason, the city has an ordinance against it.
All these statements of belief and knowing. I believe in the stupidity of the species and I know this is the one trip we all have. No repeats. no do overs. Sorry to break the news.
