Will Mom have to hose you down in the backyard while wearing a hazmat suit?
Ewww and only ewww…..
What EVERYONE is gonna say when they see Calvin.
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
It is impossible to stay clean!! Forgive us our fault!!
Looks like a scene from The Blob.
Should have invited Louie
EWWWWWWWHOOOOOOOOO, eh!?!
That’s me on internet :)
Calvin the dog…
If I’d been able to get away with it, I would have done that at his age. :D
Ah, the simple pleasures of childhood…

Ewwwwwwwwww!
I have long thought that Calvin and Agnes have much in common.
But today, I see he has more in common with Dennis the Menace!!
Oh, I hope winter isn’t over yet!!
If so, Calvin won’t be able to make his snow goons.
:’-(
Thats exactly what Calvin’s mom will say when he gets home. And Susie if he sees her on the way.
Alvin is channeling Alexis Rose from “Schitt’s Creek”. “Ew”
Hope he took off his shoes.
He may be “Ewwwing” on the outside, but he’s going “Whee!” on the inside!
Mud, boy. What’s not to love?
I hope that was mud and he wasn’t in a cow pasture.
Momma Panda; ‘’ Redd, what have you gotten into?’’
Our Hero; ’’Nuthin’’
Thanks Calvin, but no, I don’t want to smell that. Go wash your hands.
Simplicity at its finest.
Now we know where Bob Smith died… ew
Pure Calvin
Another Kodak moment.
Next comes the part where he rolls around in it saying, “I Love Ewww”
That’ll be his parents’ reaction too, I’d bet.
Boys and Mud. It’s a time-honored tradition.
Don’t knock it, ’til you try it!
Yes, ew. That’s what makes it fun.
With a fifth panel, you can have his mom’s reaction…
Three Easts and too many Wests.
How he goes from pure disgust to pure joy is pure genius…Watterson at his finest!
Nothing like boy and mud.
When I four or five, two friends and I discovered a large mud puddle. My mother often told the story of how I was literally unrecognizable. What I remember was my indignation when my punishment after I was hosed off was to have to wash my clothes!
The universal Small Boy approach to life: poke it with a stick. See what happens.
As a child, there were many, many times that I had to be hosed off in the yard before being allowed to enter the house!
Ahhhh, the salt flat mud does soak into one’s pores!
Notice how much that mud looks like his dinner to which he also says “Ewwww!” a lot.
Calvin loved every bit of that Ewww.
I was never like that… were you like that?
The “EWWW” factor is strong with little boys!
Haha
Boys will be boys.
A sheepish comment if I ever heard one. What’s it to ewwww?
