    Oxytocin is more about pregnancy and lactation. I learned about those things when my wife worked in post-partum.

    There was a recent publication about a study that rated the “effectiveness” of hugs. For some reason, the study started with women hugging. For very valid scientific reasons, the women had to be blindfolded. The conclusion was that people enjoyed hugs that were not too short and that graduate students like to see blindfolded women hugging.

    Snakes love to hug Peter, it makes them feel warm and fuzzy inside. It also tenderizes Peter and makes him easy to swallow. Peter is considered a fine meal.

    I knew that Oxytocin induces labor and breast milk. I didn’t know it was the “feel good” hormone. I learned something new today.
