Trump does not look up to former dictators. Also, the money. He is a simple grifter, more money more power, more power more money. Simple, duplicitous and willing to push anyone under the bus.

Taking power and money from him is the same as taking love. He will wither and die without his money and power. Throw him into another country without his wig, his power, his money and he would die a horrible death. Like Richard the Third.

I disrespected Richard the Third and do apologies. History will not be as kind to Trump. I find it difficult to find a greater traitor that ruled a country and tried to own it. Putin?

I really love these Sunday strips; they’re so timely. Now that GT’s TV project is over, maybe he could resume drawing this strip full-time.

There was no reason to kill anyone , What is wrong with you Dem’s anyway ? And after Joe Biden and his pal’s get gas up to 5 $ a gallon in the mid-west and unemployment on the roof . The election in a couple of years will take care of that matter for sure . I doubt if the GREAT Donald Trump would even want to run again , especially after the way he was treated the last time . And , also the election was fixed for sure . And that says something about us and that means all of us . Too bad , GOD Bless the USA !

Compared to the daily strip rerun from 1995, Duke somehow looks younger now, 26 years later. All that clean living.

It’s odd how some people seem to expect “left-wing” comic strip artists such as GBT to be totally objective yet, I’m guessing, DON’T expect “right-wing” comic strip artists to be totally objective or, indeed, even a little bit objective. Hm.

I can but presume that the general populace of the Doonesbury-verse didn’t know that one of fictional-Trump’s advisors was a genocidal madman who ordered the deaths of millions of people (notice that Trff just sort of skims past that part), because you’d think that would come up in conversation now and then. I know, I know, it’s just a comic strip, I should really just relax. :-)

Regarding correspondents who keep mentioning 2024:

Ann Coulter has noted that “The next Republican president will be elected in the year 4820.” So you’ll have way more prep time than a mere four years.

I don’t personally value Ann Coulter’s opinions, but I found the statement memorable, regardless of who said it. I can be interested in what someone says without actually caring about it. ;-)

I always wondered……if you removed Duke’s sunglasses, what would you see? Two dark, bottomless pits? Or two small, myopic, rodent-like eyes that are constantly blinking at the world, as if just emerging from a hole in the ground?

The former, terrifying as it is, would at least be poetic. But I fear the latter is true.
