    Oh, I know the UK was seriously shafted by the Leavers who kept bleating about “Project Fear!” But that seems to be the answer worldwide these days: populist bulletpoints seem ever more popular than reason, and voters in other places than the UK happily vote against their best interests just to scream at the establishment, “Take THAT, you b@stards!” Relitigate Brexit, and it’ll just give the Farangists new life.

    Unfortunately, unBrexit will never happen. Aside from any domestic considerations, I don’t see the EU opening relieved arms and saying “Welcome home!”

    Probably not Frazier. I saw the show at the time, and he was sortakinda dogpaddling and floundering around. Apparently, Frazier didn’t know how to swim in the first place, and either thought it was easier than it looked or was too embarrassed to say anything about it.

    There’s the famous quote from boxer Joe Frazier from one of the ABC Superstars competitions (for those non-boomers out there, it pitted athletes from numerous sports against one another in events outside their specialties). After Frazier nearly drowned in a 50 meter swimming heat, his reaction was “That Mark Spitz is a tough mutha******!”
