I could use rain! To make it better, I play “Thunder Plains” from Final Fantasy X.

never occurred to me to think of it that way

Now that I think of it…kinda yeah.

As my mom always says, if you are frying chicken, it should always sound like rain.

I love the sound of rain falling on a tin roof, it’s very satisfying and very therapeutic.

I use to live in a slant roof house that had no attic. So rain was fairly loud. It was not the soft pops of Bacon. It sounded more like the sizzle of a Steak! Hail sounded like Pop Corn!

Now I know why I love the sound of rain.

Foley artist for movies actually do use sizzling bacon in the pan for rain sound effect.

Doesn’t smell the same, though.

He’s contradicting himself because in a strip that came out decades ago he said he hated rain. He then said he hated spiders more than he hates rain.

Hmmmmm……Bacon…..

Interesting. I would have thought the third panel would be Jon trying to get in and Garfield jiggeling the keys.

Now I know what to have for breakfast!

Most of the raindrops appear to be in the exact same spot in all three panels.

Oh, well, so what? It’s not as if Garfield were Xeroxed, or some such, right? LOL

Raindrops keep falling on head.

In an episode of M*A*S*H, in which Hawkeye was temporarily blinded, he tells B. J. that he heard the sound of rain falling on a roof and says that it sounds like steak sizzling.

Me too.

It’s common knowledge that rain and bacon are two completely different things, so even though they sound alike, one would not taste like the other.

Ah, I see.

I’d rather it rained bacon mmm

Some people feel the rain others just get wet, and still others eat bacon.

Mmm….bacon. Can’t argue there.

There’s an air freshener with fresh rain scent, I think it smells like wet dog.

I never thought of it like that. But then again, I don’t really eat bacon.

The sound of rain is one of my favourite sounds. So peaceful and relaxing.
