Hmm, maybe Shaky actually does shoot left-handed. He also had the gun in his left hand when he shot towards Sam and Tracy from that girder.

A variety of “camera” distances and angles today. I like that. At least it’s not just an endless row of talking heads.

“Dang, where’s a girder when you need one?!”

Again, it’s Joe who’s saving Mike’s Easter.

“You gotta believe me, copper. I didn’t mean to harass her. I swear on my Oklahoma belt buckle.”

Maybe “Shaky” tries to “fake out” Tracy and Sam and gets “drilled and killed”… :-)

OK, I’m a little confused here. I thought Shaky was out on bail, so what exactly are they going after him for at this point? Does Dick even know about the belt-buckle theft yet? I guess carrying a firearm might break his bail conditions, but am I missing something?

And again, no backup.

Will he surrender peacefully, or do something stupid? Is your life worth a simple harassment charge, Shakey?

My money is on Shakey. He’s a coward, with a strong self-preservation sense.

Where is studio security dring all of this? In the real world, this would probably be happening at Cinespace Chicago, home to the Dick Wolf Chicago trilogy, where in addition to the regular security staff, plenty of off duty Chicago first responders moonlight as background players. Surely they could/would help out in situations like this.

1-SAM: Uh oh. I bet there’s a baseball game on the other side of that fence. There might be kids here watching it through knot holes! Don’t shoot, Tracy! You might hit Nancy! Or Sluggo! DT: Huh?

2-JAY BOGART: I could a climbed over or ran through this fence but that would a put the players and fans in danger of your wild shots. This bit of self-sacrifice kind of makes me a hero, don’t you think? And you should give a hero a break.

3-DT: THERE’S NO BALLGAME YOU IDIOTS!

SAM: Drop the gun before I bring the high heat.

JAY: So you’re not gonna give me an intentional walk? How about letting me steal home?

SAM: Forget it Jay. It’s the showers for you. You’re finished.

JAY: How about you let this slide. I’ll buy us a round of doubles at the bar.

SAM: Sorry Jay. It’s the 7th inning and you’re going for a long stretch – in jail.

DT: Ooh. Let me try one: I can pitcher you being in jail for a long time Jay.

JAY: What? SAM: Huh? You ok Tracy? You’re not making any sense…

This is a rather limp ending…if it IS the ending.

“What now, Tracy?”

“Well, we haven’t done a musical number in a while.”

At least Shaky Mk.2 is not on a girder this time, but I’ll bet he’s gonna make a bad decision (again) and try to use that gun instead of depositing it.

Arrest Shaky? What charge? Fortuna’s black eye? No witnesses, his word against hers. Having a gun? He merely found the gun, and was on his way to the police station to turn it in when he ran into Tracy! Now if a certain belt buckle is found on Shaky, then we might have a different kettle of fish.

The last time we saw Tracy in pursuit of Shaky the dude hid out on a crane with a Christmas Tree. Has it really been THAT long? Has the Shaky story arc really been dragging on that long?
